Email Marketing - How Hard Can Email Marketing Really Be?

This is almost like a trick question. You see, email marketing can be as hard or as easy as you make it.
If you do everything right, it can be really easy.
If you do everything wrong, it is almost impossible, you will pull your hair out and still not make any money.
And if you are anywhere in between, email marketing might make you some money, but be very difficult for you.
If you are not tracking what you are doing, article marketing will be really hard, that is for sure. You see, you have to track to know what works and what does not work.
It is kind of like if you are a chef and you are in charge of making new recipes for your company. Imagine you create lots of great dishes but you dont write down the ingredients you used. You wont be able to duplicate your recipe so your recipe is quite useless.
And the same thing occurs in email marketing. If something works, you have to know why. If it does not, you also have to know why. And the only way you can do that is to test and track.
Use your autoresponder services tracking mechanism for your tracking. Do not make it harder than it has to be. But know your open rate, click through rate, sales conversion rate, and opt in rate, and know why they are what they are.
You must build a relationship with your subscribers. You cannot expect them to just jump on your list and start buying from you. They must get to know you first.
