Fruitfully Yours Marketing Tool in Cyberspace

Do I sound dramatic in the title? I hope not. What I wanted to convey is which method or tool is efficacious in cyberspace marketing. Well, what I refer here is marketing of internet business and not brick and mortar business. Nowadays offline businesses also resort to internet marketing! That is a different story.
Coming to my main topic, everybody who is in the internet business, including the novices, knows that the different tools employed, inter alia, are:
E=Mail Marketing
Free reports on one-page websites
Writing Articles and Reviews
Giving away freebies-e-report, e-book
Using your signature in the Forums
Pop-up advts.
Classified advt.
Pay per Click advt.
Well, there are merits and demerits in each of these tools/methods.
E-Mail involves list-building and avoiding spams. How far is it effective? Not very much. People simply delete sales/junk mails or assign a separate account/id for such mails, which they do not read at all! or delete en masse! Free reports, advertisements also receive scant attention. In free reports and freebies, people simply go to the last part to see if anything is marketed for a price, related to that particular topic. Mostly this is the case, and the free reports reveal nothing.
Pop-up advertisements and classifieds also receive only cursory attention and people do not immediately make a decision on seeing such advertisements. All these tools of marketing referred above also enable use of autopilots. And many prospective customers, I have seen, are put-off by 'autopilot driven' material.
That leaves article-writing and marketing and pay-per-click advertising. Pay-per-click, as the name implies, will require payment on the basis of number of clicks and the rates are determined on auction basis which may be prohibitive. Rightly chosen words and rates may prove fruitful but involves quite a cost unless the returns are substantial.
To me, therefore,article writing and marketing sites, appears very efficacious in terms of results and sales. Of course, there are pitfalls in attempting to use this tool but can be skilfully avoided as one gets used to writing articles. Which method is devoid of any drawback? This method involves least or nil cost and the results also are better. I therefore conclude, Article marketing is fruitfully yours!
