Fun Animal Crafts For Your Kids
Post on Jun 24th 2008
Most kids love animals. They find the differences between them fascinating and they usually find an animal that they particularly like and want to enjoy all the time. There are kids that like reptiles, and kids that like fish. Whichever animal your child likes, you can still find fun crafts to do with them on the subject. This is a great way to let your kid have fun doing something related to what they love.
If the animal that your child loves is a lion, there are certain crafts that they can do that celebrate this love. The best craft they can do would be to make a lion puppet. You can do this with a paper bag, some different colored construction paper, crayons, glue, and scissors. If they color the bag yellow and draw a lion face on the bottom of the bag, they can put their hand through in order to control it. The mane should be made out of red or brown construction paper and glued to the outer rim of the lion puppets head. This is a great craft for kids because it allows them be creative.
Many little boys favorite animal is the snake. They love the way it slithers and how cool it seems. If your child prefers this animal, they can make a snake of their own. There are many ways to do this. The best way is for them to make small tubes with construction paper and tape them together so that they link. Putting a snake head at one end will complete the craft.
