So what is internet marketing and how does it work?

Well lets just start with the word INTERNET. The internet is the world at your fingertips and it doesn't get any easier than that.

What I mean but the world at your fingertips is, you have the opportunity to market worldwide in every country and build a MASSIVE world wide business. The internet gives you the advantage to reach people across the globe that you will never in a lifetime would meet or talk to if it wasn't for the internet.

So how does one market on the internet and make it successful? Well there are many forms of marketing and different strategies that one can consider but the best way to market on the internet is to BRAND YOURSELF.

What I mean by branding yourself is, promoting who you are and what you have to everyone and anyone out there. After all it becomes a numbers game, but branding yourself is the KEY to marketing online and having great success with it.

Think of all the big names out the - (The Marriott-Hilton Hotel-GM-Youtube-Google-Microsoft) all these companies have branded themselves in the market and people come to them.

Strategies - There are several very successful strategies and ways to market YOURSELF that truly work and for a small investment you get a high return.

1. Video marketing is the new wave of the internet and probably the best conversion rate you will get. If you can create videos about your company or product and post them on the internet and have people (consumer) watch them your off to a very good start. Creating a video can cost you no less than a video camera and some editing software that most computers come with. (see what I mean small investment = high return)

2. Google-Craigslist Marketing are the next big marketing techniques and strategies for one to consider. First of all Google adwords is a powerhouse and you are almost guaranteed success on there, its just a matter of finding those keywords and niche within them.

Craigslist- Now this one to me is even bigger than Google in the sense that it cost you NOTHING to market on this site but just 30-45 minutes of your time to post some ads/links out there. Craigslist had over 7 billion views this last month which is almost more than Google. Craigslist does have its niches and areas one will learn more about as they market on the site, but the key here is FREE ADVERTISING with huge returns and at the same time you are BRANDING yourself.
