Internet Marketing - Wow You’re Really Losing Out Big Time

If you are into Internet Marketing particularly selling a product, there is something you need to familiarize yourself with immediately. That "something" is called back end.

The initial sale of your product is called the front end. Back end is a product or service you sell as a compliment to your front end product.

If you are just selling your front end product with no back end you are missing out on major profits. You need to immediately set up another product, or even an affiliate product that will allow you to make additional sales to the same customer.

If you only have a front end in place, you will not be making the most out of each customer. Once they have spent that initial money that is it.

Now there are effective ways of implementing back-end to maximize your profits.

1. You want to find a second product that will compliment your front end product.

This is important. You don't want to have a front end product that is a book on "How to cook bacon", and then your back end product is "How to play guitar". That back-end obviously wouldn't do well. But lets say your front-end is a book on "How to cook bacon", a good back end product would be "How to cook scrambled eggs".

See how the back-end compliments the front end. Now this is just an example, but I can pretty much guarantee a significant percentage will buy the second product also.

2. Make a cheap front end and an expensive back end

What I like to do is bait customers in with a cheap front end. sometimes even low as a $7 book. The back end of course will be more expensive. This gets them comfortable with buying from you. Once they see you provide quality they will be less hesitant to purchase your more expensive product because they know the type of content you put out.

3. Place links to your back-end in your front end product

The most effective way I have found to get people to buy your back end product is to place a few links throughout your book. I'll put a sentence at the bottom of a few pages stating "You should also check out http://www.xxxxx.com". I find a good percentage of readers will click the link to check things out. If they like your sales page they will buy that second product. Some customers will just buy it based on your recommendation.

So always remember to have a back end in place to maximize your profits
