You Must Know These Two Things Before Starting Any Internet Marketing Business

Are you thinking about starting your own Internet marketing business? Congratulations on your courage and entrepreneurial spirit! Now for my next question. Do you have any idea what you're doing? If so, that's great, if not, maybe I can get you pointed in the right direction.
My first question is "do you have a business idea yet?" If so, have you done thorough research in order to determine if there's a buying market for what you plan to sell or offer yet? You're probably wondering what I mean by a "buying market?" A buying market is a market of people that are actively buying the type of product or service that you have to offer. You can get a good determination of whether a market is buying or not by these two factors:
#1. The market as a whole is getting a substantial amount of searches each month. This depends upon the market because there's sometimes money in certain very small specialty markets, however, a good rule of thumb is a minimum of 10,000 searches and maximum of 100,000 searches.
#2. Competition already in place. Of course you don't want a ton of people raining on your parade, but a decent amount of competition is a good thing. This means that there is money to be made in this market and it also means that there are others in the market that you can team up with and do joint ventures as soon as you've built up an email list of prospects and buyers.
If you don't have an idea yet, try writing down 10-20 different things that you either enjoy doing or know a lot about and start searching for a market. Now that you know how to do it, roll up your sleeves and get to work!
